Final Thoughts

Currently, Streamie is in Beta and while testing it we did notice some connection issues but this is to be expected. We think more platforms like this will be built into browsers especially given the upcoming rise of HTML5 and CSS3.

Test Streamie out for yourself. While it probably won’t replace your all-in-one Hootsuite or other similar apps, this is a nice alternative to the default Twitter Interface. The platform is fully open source, so if you are a programmer, you can make your own version of the client. You do not have to run it your own server because the infrastructure is handled through streamie.
